While I agree it's kinda gimmicky I don't see why folks are so against it. If it was a clean CR until January people wouldn't care so this is a clean CR for some of govt until Jan and for the rest until Feb. Realistically everyone has to deal with this sh*t again in January.

I honestly don't even care as long as they manage to pass something. Don't you think if they managed to pass clean versions of these the Senate and White House would go along with it rather than have a shutdown?
