It feels more rural/exurban with definitely some “country boy” thrown in. Lots of trucks, and not the $70k UMC dad type. I’m sure it’s a fine place to raise a family but whether or not it would suit you who knows. Would you be using public schools?[/quote]

It’s definitely not all “redneck country”. Some of their homes are pricey with decent schools.

You can’t compare Bethesda, a suburb located 5 minutes outside a city, and Ashland, which is located 45 minutes out from Richmond. Yes, Loudoun and Prince William both have some country people. [/quote]

While I agree that Bethesda and Ashland are not comparable, Ashland is not 45 min from Richmond, it's like 15 min, 20 tops. 45 minutes out has you in Spottsylvania. [/quote]
