I agree there has been a lot of obfuscation, although I suspect we disagree on the nature of it. But obfuscation is not the primary reason of the disagreement. The disagreement stems from the fact that this is a complex situation and this is not a question that can be answered by virologists because the answer will in large part depend on how you think different risks and costs and benefits and interests should be balanced, which is ultimately a political question.[/quote]
