Stop playing games. Certain people who would gain by ignoring the pandemic intentionally undermined anyone speaking reason. Also the response was never going to be perfect and your bunch of nutjobs used every bit of it to encourage confusion. If that orange stain had not been in office things would not have been so bad.

The disagreement stems from the fact that this is a complex situation and this is not a question that can be answered by virologists because the answer will in large part depend on how you think different risks and costs and benefits and interests should be balanced, which is ultimately a political question.

The problem is that even the "experts" don't agree on this. There are a variety of expert views. Some are voices of alarm, some are voices of reason.
