Interesting - didn't realize regions could (and actually) do their tournament formats differently.   Good to know - thanks for the info!

Think I actually like having the district tourney mean something (versus all-in again for regionals).  But I suppose also good that those players can continue their season bit longer.

Any case, looks like Region D tourney will be Madison/Westfields/Oakton/Centreville and then Langley/Yorktown/McLean/W&L(!).  Should be great. [/quote]

Fully agree, district tourney should mean something. Hate how Fairfax County differs in their rules for many things including scheduling regular season games.[/quote]
