Is it the ONLY type of vacation I want to go on? No, of course not. My favorite is definitely exploring a new city, preferably out of the country, including a few days in the surrounding countryside if we can. That's ideal to me -- museums, great food, people watching, learning about another culture, seeing a different climate and terrain. But for a long weekend or even a spring break trip, 3-4 days on the beach is lovely and focuses on recharging, spending time in nature, and spending time together. That's nice.[/quote]
