The alternative is typically crazy right wing nut jobs. I'd rather have a union-supporter than a racist who demands never looking at school boundaries. When there has been someone not crazy not on the Apple Ballot (Lynne Harris), I and the rest of the mainstream voted for them.[/quote]
"Snake Eyes" Harris was part of the activist busing group and abused her position as MCEA president to do so.  She's one of the worst.  Unfortunately, as others have said, most voters don't have kids in MCPS so they aren't paying attention.[/quote]
