You have no idea what your first reaction would be if you accidentally killed someone because you fired a weapon you thought was safe as part of an act. His first reaction was probably based on just observing what happened and complete disbelief that it happened at all. It probably was not even close to sinking in and he was just trying to process what he was seeing. Something like, 'how could this have possibly happened this wasn't a loaded gun where did a loaded gun come from????' is, in my opinion, a completely normal reaction.

There are subsequent photos showing him bent over in distress. Coming to grips with the fact that you just killed someone I assume comes in stages, and I hope I never know what it feels like. [/quote]
