None of us yet know what else he said. You're reacting to a report, not an absolute truth. Brighten up.
Everyone wants to know who gave him that gun. They were literally the people who should have known the gun was loaded.
Alec, as producer and seasoned actor, should have inspected weapon with weapons armorer. Lax safety protocols and criminal negligence.

Yeah, but a general rule of thumb is that if you're standing over a dead body, its a bad idea to make people believe you're pointing fingers.
You have no idea what your first reaction would be if you accidentally killed someone because you fired a weapon you thought was safe as part of an act. His first reaction was probably based on just observing what happened and complete disbelief that it happened at all. It probably was not even close to sinking in and he was just trying to process what he was seeing. Something like, 'how could this have possibly happened this wasn't a loaded gun where did a loaded gun come from????' is, in my opinion, a completely normal reaction.
There are subsequent photos showing him bent over in distress. Coming to grips with the fact that you just killed someone I assume comes in stages, and I hope I never know what it feels like.
+1 He may not have even realized someone was hurt at first

Anonymous wrote:Wondering why the weapon would aimed at the cinematographer and producer in the first place. Would make more sense if it was another actor from the scene

I’m not so sure.
I can’t imagine why they would even have live ammo on a set. Why would a prop gun ever be loaded with live ammo? It doesn’t seem right.
There’s literally no official word on any of this just speculation on Twitter. All we know for sure is that a young woman is dead and Alec Baldwin fired a gun. Chill before you get all crazy conspiracy theory with this.
The head of Local 44 (IATSE - Los Angeles) already confirmed that it was a "live round" that was fired in an email to union members and that no one from the union was on the set of this film. Ergo, this was a non-union shoot.

If it’s a non union shoot then why would the union know what happened? Wait for the police. There’s an actual dead woman here.
