There’s literally no official word on any of this just speculation on Twitter. All we know for sure is that a young woman is dead and Alec Baldwin fired a gun. Chill before you get all crazy conspiracy theory with this. [/quote]

The head of Local 44 (IATSE - Los Angeles) already confirmed that it was a "live round" that was fired in an email to union members and that no one from the union was on the set of this film. Ergo, this was a non-union shoot.

I'm actually reading that it was a union shoot, with Local 480 New Mexico chapter providing the crew. No clue if this armorer was part on the union.

Anyways, the industry is small and people talk. Union and non-union work together all the time on the same projects. I'm sure the LA unions heard of this incident immediately, in real time. [/quote]
