You’re 45 and cringing at dating women your own age. Okay, everyone likes youth, I get it. What are you offering so that someone 10 years younger wants to date you? Not much. You made some weird comments about not wanting to be a sugar daddy. From day one you’re already ruling out sharing your income which is one of the easiest ways men can make the age difference palatable. You’re also ruling out children which are almost universally desired. And on top of that she has to give up all the benefits of a childfree lifestyle because you have children. So, what exactly are you offering? You say you’re fit and attractive. Okay, I believe you. But realistically a guy her age will be more fit and more attractive than you — AND he won’t have the baggage of an ex wife, kids and being old.
+1. His pool is already narrow. He should focus on 43-50 and kids should not be a factor. A woman in her 30s can do better. I always feel like men look for women like shopping for a piece of furniture. Look for a connection first...much more likely to find it with women his own age due to baggage.
