yall can take this woke/liberal/SJW bs out of here people seriously blaming away criminal behavior because of racisim what the actual f
What do you blame it on?
2 main reasons A lack of positive male role models to show there is a way out (combined with too much negative peer pressure and overall peer influence) A lack of economic opportunities and/or a skills mismatch. Example by all objective measures the DC economy has been great for years. The issue is a skills/education gap
Why is there a lack of male role models? Why is there a skill/education gap? Hint. Underlying racist policies.
no you are a moron Is there some racist telling people to not focus on school or value education Is there some racist telling people to do drugs and commit crimes Is there some racist telling people to have sex and kids out of wedlock Is there some racist telling men that they don't have to give a f about themselves or their community or taking personal responsibility for anything No hell no Get the f out of here idiot
There ABSOLUTELY is communities telling their kids not to focus on school or value education. In many communities, being studious means you’re “nerdy,” “goody two-shoes,” and I could go on. Where I grew up, you’d (and did) get made fun of if you wanted to study at lunch, read a book, or *gasp* like math class. And there are definitely communities that think going away to college means you think you’re better than everyone else. After all, you’re leaving your community behind. And they do not value the investment of college. “Why go into debt when you can just get a job and not be in debt?” I suggest you read Hillbilly Elegy. I attended public schools that were 88% FARMS, majority AA/Hispanic.
Absolutely agree. My dad, white, grew up in a community like that where there was no respect for education. He was mocked for working hard and for working double shifts so he could pay his own way through college. This is a social issue that affects all races and ethnicities.
