And it's not jealousy either. It's quality of the training environment, which is always impacted by the players in it.
Well like I said earlier. My belief is that play ups should be a very rare case. Asking us whether the play ups on the 06 team are deserving again and again, the poster started to come off to me as a jealous parent. I don't think it is nice to talk about specific kids. If they wanted to know about the training environment that is an odd way to ask it. It's a very good training environment and they challenge our team. Our 06s (yes including the play ups) often practice and scrimmage the 05s. Coaches do a good job challenging every age group. Best of luck to those looking to make a move next year. Best way to see MU is come to ID sessions and practices. See if it is a fit both ways.
Yeah, I hear you, and I agree on all points. It is should be a very rare thing. I guess because whether MU or Spirit, it's become such a defining problem. I'm very hopeful for MU's sake that turn out for these younger age groups so that they can fix it. I think there is plenty of talent that should get a chance to develop. That full development needs all those players to have a chance to play in their own age group. The right answer, if it is possible, is to roster and play kids in their own age groups. If they are so exceptionally talented as to completely dominant that age group, then move them up. Just because a kid can play up doesn't mean they should.
That changed this year. The older MU teams each have one play up per age group at the most. This seems on par with other DA clubs.
It definitely got better. One team has none.
