Did it actually happen?[/quote] No. She died lie in repose on the Tuesday-Wednesday at an African-American museum and Thursday at her father's church and the body was dressed in different outfits every day. She was a hero in Detroit and there was a lot of desire among the family to let people pay their last respects. At the funeral the casket was open and she wore yet another outfit and people went up and paid their respects. They did not "pass her around." [/quote]
