Mornings generally aren't the problem. Give it a go this afternoon. We live four miles from Langley off of Georgetown Pike. Bus came at 7:28 and arrived to LHS at 8:11. Not bad considering it's the first day and people are getting used to the school traffic again.
Op here. Kids will take the bus home. Hoping it is reverse traffic. I believe balls hill to Georgetown pike isn’t the bottleneck. Hope I’m not wrong. I haven’t signed up for any afternoon activities yet.
Balls Hill to G'town Pike is very much part of the bottleneck. When my kids attended Cooper, I would always get stuck in a horrendous backup on Balls Hill on my way to pick them up at dismissal for activities (the backup being comprised of mostly MD drivers, trying to get to the Beltway by avoiding the Toll Road.) Finally had to start arriving at Cooper an hour early, just to get there before the traffic backed up. Ridiculous.
