YOU want to be the sole arbiter of whether or not you are a "liberal theist."  And you obviously don't want anyone else to be able to challenge that appellation.   If you are "liberal theist" then by definition anything you state as an opinion is implied to be that of a "liberal theist."   You're confusing the map with the territory by having picked a value-laden screen name.  You did it deliberately for propaganda purposes.   I'm going to assume, since I'm a cynical sort, that anyone who calls themselves a "liberal theist" is actually far from it, and trying to be deceptive.

Handles should be designators only if they are to be used.  They should not contain unverifiable descriptions which the handle-users invariably choose to reflect favorably on themselves.  Maybe it is more accurate for your handle to be "egotistical theist" or "self-deluding theist" or "dishonest theist."

I don't even see the problem, because if "SweetiePie" turns out to be the nastiest troll here, then that'll be obvious to everyone. You're not even telling us your ID, and I'm definitely not up for letting randos choose our names for us.

Sorry, but this is nuts. You can assume whatever you like about the posters behind their names. The rest of us will use these as a tool to recognize and understand these posters. If the name doesn't match the posts we're perfectly capable of figuring that out for ourselves too. You act as though somebody who calls herself WonderWoman should be able to fly or it's some sort of crime against DCUM. What a trumped-up (excuse me) load of fake protests! [/quote]
