So I agree with pretty much everyone who couldn’t stand the new Miranda but isn’t that kind of the point.  She changed.  She left her faithful husband for a person who didn’t even want to define their relationship.  Miranda portrayed what it’s like when people make a terribly selfish decision, they really are only thinking of themselves.  The viewers who’ve “known” her for decades realize how much she’s strayed from her true self but that’s life a lot of the times, especially when one has lived a life that put others (kids, spouse, parents) ahead of their own needs.  My point is that it’s true to the human form to be incredibly unlikable when making the choices she’s made and the writers were more authentic by not making the viewers take her side.[/quote]
