Good, less time for the Oakton families to ruin this for those of us who have elementary students and want our kids to go to this HS. It sounds like FCPS is letting even current middle schoolers have a choice, so I don't know why so many Oakton families are being so selfish and trying to make decisions that will impact elementary-aged kids for years and years just so their older kids don't get moved. I hope the school board sees right through them.[/quote]

If this is really true than you should be working with the rest of the community - everyone in Oak Hill - to ask FCPS to wait and give it another year before opening the new school. I think EVERYONE can agree that would be best for all children. But nope, you just want your kids to do sports at Oakton.[/quote]
