I could maybe see Saint Marys or Spalding agreeing to play in it but the traditional blue blood Baltimore teams (Calvert Hall, McDonogh, BL, Loyola, Gilman, St Pauls.... will NEVER commit to agreeing to play in a post league tournament after the MIAA championship playoff. The Annapolis area schools in the MIAA do not get the respect they deserve from the legacy Baltimore programs.

There is a reason why no team from the MIAA has ever even played in the GEICO Nationals and that tournament now has taken place for 3 - 4 years now.  The coaches in that league  (mainly the traditional Baltimore programs) think they are above having to play any additional opponents after the MIAA playoffs. Its a fact.

I'm fine with the tournament remaining purely just an IAC / WCAC thing. The talent and coaching down in the DC area is just as good as the MIAA if not better. Only the diehard Baltimore fanatics will tell you otherwise....
