It is definitely not a recruiting camp.  It is a developmental one, and a very good one.  Unfair to say, "it's a fun camp nothing more, nothing less".  Your average camp run by a rec league or small club is a fun camp.  This one by the Crabs has very good coaching and excellent talent to play with/against.[/quote]

There are a lot of Crabs and VLC kids, but it is a national camp because the kids board for 4 days.  Most of the kids are from the MidAtlantic (more Baltimore and other parts of MD than the DMV), but they get a lot of kids from all over.  West Coast, Texas, etc.

This is just for MS kids, so there's no recruiting element.  Just teaching kids fundamentals.  Regardless of what camp you pick, you have to find a camp that has a critical mass of kids who can play at your son's level or above.  If you sign him up for a camp that has lesser kids, it won't be as good of an experience for him.[/quote]
