Huh?  what about this person in ANY WAY suggests that she is Orthodox???  There is a poster on here who keeps claiming various Jewish posters must be Orthodox...which is totally weird.  I hate to break it to you, but very few Orthodox Jewish posters would be spending time on DCUM during PASSOVER, idiot!

OK. The PP said she is 38 years old. Passover comes ONCE A YEAR. Orthodox Jews observe first and second night of Passover. It would be mathematically impossible for her to have attended more than one Seder a year unless she went to 2 in one day. Crazy.

Many, many Jewish people celebrate the first and second night of Passover -- Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist.  And those that simply get invited to more than one Seder on the first night of Passover may attend more than one Seder.  I don't know where you get your information but assuming someone is Orthodox simply because they went to first and second night Seders is Ree-dic-u-lous.[/quote]

Whatever. I get my info from my  formerly of Brooklyn born, 80 year old MIL. Good enough for you? Reform Jews don't do second night. A full Seder with my Long Island inlaws takes 3 hours minimum. The amount of food consumed would stuff an army. By the 4th question everyone is hammered on wine. You have the stomach capacity to do 2 of these in one night? I call bullshit. [/quote]

I think you are a bit ridiculous if this is what you base your opinions on.  I will add only that yes, people go to a Seder, stay for the meal and ritual, and then drop by other people's houses where they have been invited.  People have in-laws and family obligations they have to satisfy, obviously, just as in any family you want to drop by and see all your relatives, both sides of the family.  Whether or not they stuff themselves at every house...please, stop being deliberately obtuse.[/quote]
