It was clear he meant he won’t listen to State Senator Cheryl Kagan.  He thinks she lacks credibility and her feelings aren’t valid.  She is also a very powerful State Senator.  Let’s see how that works out for him.

This is not picking a fight.  This is actually doing his job to keep students and schools a safe place to learn.  I wouldn't mix this issue with the boundary/closing issue.  They are not remotely alike.[/quote]

How is it not picking a fight when Kristin clearly says she felt targeted by Taylor’s letter, and was disappointed and taken aback by it? She also vowed to keep doing the Know Your Rights sessions and showing up at schools. So she and Taylor are in open conflict now.

This is literally a fight now between 1 of 3 people on the E&C Committee, who decide how much to fund MCPS, and Dr. Taylor.

Dr. Taylor would have been much better off having a direct meeting with Mink and her team about his concerns rather than doing a general, passive aggressive letter attacking her and then having your PIO deny it was directed at her in the first place, as if she and the rest of the public are too dumb to see that he’s lying.
