Many people major in humanities before applying to med - I feel like it can also help GPA.[/quote] I went to ivy undergrad and grad and most of my peers who are doctors were humanities majors for undergrad and did their core requirements for med school during the summer at other institutions or in post-bac programs. Of course, that requires having time and money, which they all did. The only people out of my alma mater who did undergrad stem and applied successfully to med school were truly brilliant and I would not have wanted to be graded on a curve with them. [/quote]
