DP no one is asking for absolute quiet.  Tell the flight attendant what you want to drink, softly talk your spouse as needed.  But CHATTING is so rude.  It’s like talking on your phone in an elevator for hours.  Or talking in church.  No one can get away from you.  Shush already like a civilized human.[/quote]

Uh, chatting on a plane is NOT like chatting in church. And no one spends hours on an elevator.

I don't care if kids are on iPads or not but if the sound of people having conversation on a plane is going to give you conniptions then you need to invest in some heavy duty noise cancelling headphones and let it go because it's perfectly normal to have a conversation on a plane. DH and I don't always have a whole chat on the plane but sometimes we do-- depends on if we traveled to the airport together or have something to discuss. You need to get over it.[/quote]
