We had a great time. My kids loved it but have not asked to go back. We stay at All Stars because it was economical. We got back late every night and got up early the next day. We were barely in the room. As soon as we got back, everyone zonked out.  The rooms are not cheap for Motel 6 type rooms. Very basic and clean.

Disney is also not for fine dining. We ate at Disney Springs most of time. We ate dinner at 2 restaurants in the park. I can’t even remember which ones but it was pretty pricey and the food was ok.

It’s also marketing. All the Mickey Mouse waffles and ice cream, fudge, etc.  We told our kids no. Dole whip is $10 and you can get it at Sheetz for $2 for a cup twice the size of Disney’s.

We bought souvenirs on the Disney app and it was shipped to us for free and 25% off.

Military gets discounts on hotels and tickets. We also got kids meal for everyone at lunch (not sit down) but fast food so we ordered at the counter.

We also used the previous Fast Pass. We hardly ever waited in line. Maybe 10 minutes at most. If you are are waiting more than that, you did not plan properly.

Do Disney once. Done right, it’s fun. Set a budget.  You don’t need to do everything to have a great time. But there’s a big world out there. See it![/quote]
