Fatphobic a-hole.
It was the Dumbo Throw down show!
For some reason it bothered me even more that it was by a ride aimed at small kids.
Again, we’ve been to Disney a lot and have never seen anything close to that.
So recognize that what you saw was not typical.
Search Disney World Fights on YouTube.
It happens more than it should.
I could find you 100 examples of fights all over the place. This is far from a Disney thing.
No one is saying it is and you completely miss the point.
Fights are not all that rare at DW.
If that’s true, I would’ve expected to have seen one, given that we go quite a bit.
It is documented in many videos. And that's true.
Sorry you never saw as I know you think you are the center of the universe.
Ah yes — because it’s in videos online, that must mean it happens all the time.
Data analysis isn’t your strong suit, is it?
I am the poster who shared my experience witnessing the Dumbo fight, not PP…but security was right there and handled it immediately. I complimented them in my earlier post.
If this wasn’t a fairly common occurrence, why were they even there in number, and so good at their jobs?
There is security all over the place at Disney. I had never thought about it before that incident, but obviously they are there for a reason or Disney wouldn’t staff them so heavily.

When did it become exorbitantly expensive? 5, 10, more years ago?
It’s always been expensive.
I don't know. We first went with our kids when they were little in the 2008-2010 period, after the recession, and they had tons of deals that made the trip, especially hotels, more affordable. Ticket prices have gone up, and perks that were free, like Fastpass, now cost extra. I think they just changed it back, but parking at resorts when from free to another add-on on top of the already high rates. Not only have ticket prices skyrocketed, they changed to surge pricing, so tickets cost more on the most popular dates.
Umm … you’re comparing now to the global recession?
Data analysis fail. Total fail.
I also pointed out specific examples of price increases and new add-on costs.

Maybe not, but none of us want to go again. Zero interest, even if that only happens sometimes. It was hot and muggy and expensive, and the classic rides were a little tired except for Space Mountain, which we loved. My kids enjoyed Kennedy Space Center much more and we’ve been back there a few times (in-laws winter in Vero).
Using a season as a verb … cringe.
We’re going to Kennedy Space Center before going to Disney. We’ve also stayed at the DVC resort at Vero Beach.
So sorry — you’re not as far from Disney as you think.
I would never go to the Disney Hotel in Vero. They have a beachfront club like 1/2 mile from there, we don’t need to.
We go to visit family. I have no objection to being NEAR Disney, I just never want to go TO Disney again.
I don’t know why you are so adamantly pro-Disney.
I have to go to the Grand Floridian for work every 6 or 8 years. The last time I went, a child was eaten by an alligator a week later on the beach I read a book on! I am told they have totally revamped that beach so it is barricaded off, but I have several negative associations with Disney and you will never convince me it’s great.
I have to go again next year, definitely not going to the parks. I will go to Disney Springs for work dinners I am sure, and the food is decent there if you pick a good place.
I have positive associations because it’s high quality family entertainment and we enjoy going. We’ve never seen a fight.
Well, we didn’t have fun.
We loved KSC. I also went and googled “Kennedy Space Center Fights” and did not get any fights other than for funding, so there is that.
