Agree with the wealth.  Homes in our neighborhood that were around $1 million in 2009 are now $2-3 million.

We did public k-8.  But, we weren't happy with the size of our zoned HS or some of the issues with staffing or fights, phone usage, and drugs, etc.  My oldest started private HS Fall of 2020.  He was accepted before Covid hit and it was a blessing.  The STARK difference between how the private HS handled it and what went on with his younger sibling in public MS was so worth the $. Once we saw the differences in quality of education and the administration--it wasn't possible to go back.  My anxiety and stress disappeared since I 100% trust the school and the people running it--especially if there were a crisis. I don't have the unease I had when in APS. [/quote]
