I don’t think this second post cleared things up for me. No one is victimizing the grieving family. A lot of us are expressing disapproval for a candidate who seems to be exploiting a tragic situation (not exploiting the family who has voluntarily gotten involved in the race, as is their right). The candidate would not have done anything different in this case, except maybe being a little more friendly and sympathetic during a meeting with the Meade/Kehoe family. Yet that doesn’t stop the candidate from using this death as political fodder. I think a lot of posters have expressed sympathy for the family and their situation, but have taken a view that the attention to this case is just a bit too much compared to the focus on other victims in Arlington and Falls Church.

It is disingenuous for Josh Katcher to criticize Parisa for this case when he has admitted that, essentially, things would have been the same under his administration. It is disgusting. [/quote]
