I'm sorry adult drinking is "hugely disturbing" to you. I just don't see any "rapiness (sic) or toxicity" in that article. It's a pretty benign article. I think a better answer to my question would have been: "I didn't glean anything new from that article. I'm just reinforcing the beliefs I've held since the hearings." Clearly, that's the case.

I disagree about his "lying." I'm sure Blasey-Ford lied and that crazy Swetnick obviously lied about spiking drinks. Then, Jane Doe made up a claim and sent it to useful idiot Kamala Harris. Not only was the allegation discredited, but Jane Doe was referred to DOJ for making false allegations. It's pretty sad the Democrats used these women as pawns in an unsuccessful attempt to interfere with the lawful duties of the United States Senate. But this is what we've come to expect from those folks.

DP. Having watched the hearings, I saw Kavanaugh behave in ways totally unbefitting a Supreme Court justice.  His self-centeredness, his assumed victimhood, his whole demeanor was disgusting.  I get that you’ve convinced yourself that a person truthfully recounting what happened to her, at great personal cost and absolutely zero upside must be lying, but you should know that the majority of people who watched the hearings came away with the impression that BK is scum.  And if you can’t see the toxicity in the politico piece, we’ll that tracks — you don’t thing sexual harassment and assault is a real thing, you think the old white guys should be in charge, and you think everybody else should just know their place. Imagine a person undergoing Senate confirmation acting self-centered. I mean, it's beyond the pale.

Imagine a person being falsely accused - on national TV - assuming victimhood. Again, that is so far out of the norm it's scary.
