Everyone nationwide knows he lied.
Talk about jumping to conclusions based on assumptions...
I'm sorry adult drinking is "hugely disturbing" to you. I just don't see any "rapiness (sic) or toxicity" in that article. It's a pretty benign article. I think a better answer to my question would have been: "I didn't glean anything new from that article. I'm just reinforcing the beliefs I've held since the hearings." Clearly, that's the case.
I disagree about his "lying." I'm sure Blasey-Ford lied and that crazy Swetnick obviously lied about spiking drinks. Then, Jane Doe made up a claim and sent it to useful idiot Kamala Harris. Not only was the allegation discredited, but Jane Doe was referred to DOJ for making false allegations. It's pretty sad the Democrats used these women as pawns in an unsuccessful attempt to interfere with the lawful duties of the United States Senate. But this is what we've come to expect from those folks.
Of course, your mileage may vary but in the end you know I'm right.
DP. Having watched the hearings, I saw Kavanaugh behave in ways totally unbefitting a Supreme Court justice. His self-centeredness, his assumed victimhood, his whole demeanor was disgusting. I get that you’ve convinced yourself that a person truthfully recounting what happened to her, at great personal cost and absolutely zero upside must be lying, but you should know that the majority of people who watched the hearings came away with the impression that BK is scum. And if you can’t see the toxicity in the politico piece, we’ll that tracks — you don’t thing sexual harassment and assault is a real thing, you think the old white guys should be in charge, and you think everybody else should just know their place. Your tone pretty much makes all that clear.

If he is thinking of Landon, he should definitely turn down Prep. It will not be a great fit.
Exactly.
If the boy and the parents can't tell the difference between Prep and Landon, the kid should go to Landon. (Which many Prep people consider to be the anti-Prep.)
In fact, anyone who considers Landon should not apply to Prep because obviously they don't understand what make Prep different.
Please elaborate. Why are the so different other than religion?

A starting point for this would be differences in who sends their boys there and what their expectations and values are.
What is one to conclude about those values when you are excusing what came out in the hearings (even just the stuff he had to admit)?

From listening to everyone, some kids would die for admission into Prep and it is a very well regarded school. Has anyone else's DS declined their offer to Georgetown Prep? What school did they end up accepting and why? Do they regret making that decision?
Very odd question. You should not base an acceptance on wondering if anyone declined as a decision on accepting. Do what is best for your son. Prep is
for Catholics as STA for Episcopalians. If you are not a catholic then maybe another school fits better.
Pschaw. There are plenty of Episcopalians at Georgetown Prep!
