There was a crash in downtown Bethesda several months ago. A car went up onto the sidewalk on Bethesda Ave and pinned a pedestrian under the car. There were helicopters all over and it was reported on the early news -- 4:00 -- with helicopter footage over the crash. That was it. Not a single mention of it at 5, 6 or 11 o'clock news or ever again. Just like it hadn't happened. One of my kids walked by and saw it. I saw it on the 4 o'clock news so it did happen. Yes, there is a big conspiracy to hide car accidents. Auto lobbyists pay off news orgs to downplay stories so people still keep buying cars.
