I believe it is only one t in "pit" and also we should clarify which pit it was because there are five distinct varieties:

American Bully, American pit bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Staffordshire bull terrier and lastly American bulldog[/quote]

Np here.  Most of thebpit bulls you meet aren't purebred in the slightest so this is silly.

My friends have a Staffordshire terrier and boy do I not like that dog.  Barks constantly, clearly anxious all the time.  I do not trust that dog around my kid.. So having some kind of purebred dog doesn't fix the behavior problems with these bully breeds at all.[/quote]
