I also know quite a number of people who drove more than an hour south or west to get vaccinated in the counties that had easily available appointments, when it was difficult to schedule an appointment within Fairfax County. They reasoned that since the demand in Fairfax was so high, they should leave the Fairfax appointments to those who couldn't take the time to go farther. Meanwhile, appointments were easy to find in places like Louisa or Page counties. I just continued my introverted, shopping-averse lifestyle, until vaccines were plentiful here![/quote]
