They weren't going to challenge him in the presence of the crowd but they also weren't going to intervene meaningfully to assist him. [/quote] There is a disconnect between the time when Floyd was pulled from or exited the patrol car to when Chauvin placed his knee on Floyd’s neck. All of the officers were involved up to that point. [/quote]
