Do not kid yourself, size and speed/quickness are very important. Travel soccer, even at the “elite” levels is not as competitive as college or pro soccer. It’s just high school soccer. The small, fast, skilled, athletic and productive girl will not be the same going against bigger, faster, more athletic women in college or the pros. [/quote]

Rose is average height at 5'4 - not really short. She does have world class vision, timing, soccer IQ and foot skills which leads to creativity that is off the charts.

So yes, you can make it regardless of size if you have world beating skills like a Dunn or Lavelle.
