Parents, please reach out to DCPS and demand details and guarantees of the protocols and protections they claim they will provide![/quote] Also- under the current directives from DCPS of we go back to work & catch Covid- from being back & have to quarantine for 2 weeks well have to burn our leave. This can easily be remedied. Many of us are willing to bump up against the risks, because they are minimal for healthy folks- but don’t then penalize us for coming back to work. Dcps can do this right. But it’s going to take a lore more thought & accountability than that awful document they sent out last week [/quote] I thought the FFCRA gives two weeks paid leave if a person has coronavirus. From the DOL site: Two weeks (up to 80 hours) of paid sick leave at the employee’s regular rate of pay where the employee is unable to work because the employee is quarantined (pursuant to Federal, State, or local government order or advice of a health care provider), and/or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and seeking a medical diagnosis [/quote]
