[/quote] I’m in Fairfax County and saw an injured deer limping along my fence line. A Fairfax County police officer went searching for the deer, shot at it twice and missed both times. He came back to apologize and explained that he was unable to continue “hunting” and that nature would have to take over. Shortly thereafter, I was driving home at night and stopped for what looked like a car accident with police response. I heard a gunshot, then was waved on by; the car hit a deer and the police officer shot it. Anyway, I find this thread fascinating and dare I say, funny - especially the GUS KLR plates! [/quote]
