No.  I wouldn't be concerned.  
71%tile nationally is not problemlematic.

Your MCPS percentile is compared to a much [b]smaller group of students who were "handpicked" to test[/b].  Because so many able students took the test and the sample size is small, a large number of very high scores will lower the percentiles of those typically in the middle.  Remember, unless your child goes to an ES that is a direct feeder to TKMS, EMS, CMS, or MLK MS not everyone took the test, only those who were invited based on high data or their parents requested.

You might want to look at the raw score and the learner profile on the parent score report/website for more helpful information about your child as a learner. [/quote]
In our average ES, lot of kids are being  picked to test
Also I remember used to show the percentile among kids accepted, why is it not provided any more.[/quote]
