But really, lots of people do everything right, and still get run over. The only thing your don't-get-run-over tips accomplish is encouraging the mindset that somebody who got run over must have been doing something wrong, or else they wouldn't have gotten run over. If you're serious about preventing people from getting run over, you need to focus on two things: 1. driver behavior 2. road design Telling people to walk safely might make you feel good, but it doesn't prevent people from getting run over.[/quote]
