I find it extremely disturbing that Michelle and Barack were friends with Kelly. Of course they knew. They ain’t dumb. Oprah as well. All coming from Chicago, they were tight.
Evidence? I've followed R. Kelly's story for more than a decade and never heard or seen anything to indicate a relationship.
Are saying they never associated with each other? Google “R Kelly” “Obama”
*you
You claimed a friendship. PP said she didn’t see any indications of a relationship. Now, you’re saying they just associated with each other. Maybe they knew each other (I have no idea), but are they friends as you initially claimed? Do they have an actual personal relationship?
Well, I've googled and can't' find evidence of a friendship or even an association. The most I found was that Obama used R. Kelly's song "I believe" for his 2008 inauguration. PP, please link us to what you are talking about.
Robert Kelly wrote a song for Obama?
It was rewritten as a tribute for Obama by R. Kelly from another artist, Osmosis Jones. But I don't know that Obama ever used it for any events. There were lots of artists who did similar. I can imagine that R. Kelly wanted to because of Obama, for obvious reasons. But it doesn't serve as evidence of their apparently non-existent friendship.
They’ve shared the stage together more than once. Given Michelle’s obsession with hip-hop, I doubt she avoided associating with him.
It's interesting that you keep making these assertions of connection but haven't produced any proof at all. You just want to tar the Obamas and Oprah/Gayle because of the Chicago connection.
