I have two little kids and yes, it's inconvenient if I have to get a babysitter but we figure it out - or we don't go - or one of us goes.

Everyone has their reasons for wanting or not wanting kids there just like they have their reasons for anything else they want at a wedding. Sometimes it's cost that's an issue, sometimes it's the type of venue or time of day, or a host of a million other reasons. It really doesn't matter. If you find the "terms" of the party (which really is what a wedding is, a party) to not be to your liking, simply decline the invitation![/quote]
