and guess who's complaining about Amazon? The post DACA surge in unaccompanied minors released to sponsors [don't have to be legally present] by ORR from October 2013 through September 2018 is a good indicator of destination jurisdictions in the USA.  Counties that got 50+ in any fiscal year are shown plus entire states.  Top recipients:
1. NY/NJ as a region
2. DMV as a region [4x AZ+NM two border states combined]
3. CA - a mammoth geographic border state
4. TX-a mammoth geographic border state

Comical thing about this thread is I know some Trump voters from a non high impact state who think we should allow them in - not Illinois but Durbin's entire state had 2317 while PG County got 5037, FX County 4680, MOCO 3861, Baltimore City + County 2599.  Yes- Baltimore Metropolitan area got more than Durbin's state.  All the dialogue about the border and humanitarian aid - what about localities and long term costs including facilties bonds for schools?  Operating funds for schools?  Dramatic measures like FCPS procurring and retrofitting an office building for rapid capacity?

Yeah take a look at the shithole MoCo schools has become. No thanks.  This needs to stop. Maybe once these kids start showing up at Sidwell Friends and Georgetown Prep maybe congress will care. Until then the rest of us schmucks just have to take it.[/quote]
