Coaches are not watching games trying to find players. What a waste of time that would be. The coach would have no idea if that player lighting it up is interested in the program, could academically qualify to get in, or is already committed somewhere else! They don’t waste time doing that. If a coach is on the sideline it is to watch someone in particular. They care about the level competition, if it’s a ECNL or DA game great. If it’s a showcase against tougher competition even better. They could care less how well the team does. It’s about the player both on and off the field.[/quote]
