There is a viable proposal for dealing with DACA but it needs funding for the wall/enhanced border security, limiting chain migration, and cutting back on the number of new immigrants by limiting to a merit based system without regard to country of origin. If these are part of the legislation the DACA kids can be given right of residence and a pathway to citizenship.

Another PP here.  I am a Dem and even I cannot figure out where the PP is going with this.  A bill that takes care of the Dreamers is fine with most of us.  We are not crazy about some of the other parts, but protecting Dreamers is the priority at this point.  [/quote]

I am a Dem too. We are about to blow it, again, by concentrating all our efforts on illegal immigration.
Speak for yourself, and check the cover of the Post this morning on who is likely to get the blame depending on the grounds:
