The Democrats will be blamed for this shutdown in the polling booths despite their protestations otherwise. Hillary and Trump were both hawks. Duh.
Americans are paying attention right now. They want a permanent DACA resolution, they want CHIP funded for at least 6 if not 10 years (saves $6B over ten years to fund it now) and they want the nonsense to stop. The GOP are fully in control and could do all of this yesterday, but they aren't. No way the dems get blamed for this.
The dems are big idiots, they can't accept that the republicans are I the drivers seat and can use DACA ad leverage to get whay they want with immigration. Good job pandering to illegals, demz!
Yes, the Democrats' lopsided priorities, in which they give more priority to children of illegals than American workers on full display. "Give amnesty to these illegals or we will stop the paychecks of 800,000 federal employees!" On the other side, we have Republicans holding firm to helping ensure border security and enforcing the law against illegals. (Horrors! Enforcing immigration law!) Here's the compromise: The DACA adults will get legal resident status but never be entitled to vote (sorry, Dems) or take welfare, AND their illegal parents go home. These adults can choose that, or leave with their families. The cost will already be great, considering the DACA anchor babies will drive up costs on American citizens and eventually vote. That's enough of a penalty to pay for the actions of these illegal DACA parents, and if they broke the law to give a better life for their kids, as claimed, they go back and DACA kids remain.
