Biden got 9.5% more votes than Trump. Think on that, it was a blowout! That is a huge margin. If the 2024  election was solely on popular vote it wouldn’t be close either.[/quote]

A previous poster said all these voters woke up to Trump being a rapist or whatever. I pointed out that Trump got 18% more votes in 2020 than 2016. Someone said I couldn’t do math and it turns out that I can. As far as Biden’s supposed 81 million votes? It’s just one of those things that make you go Hmmm.[/quote]
Biden got more votes than Trump because many people found Trump loathsome/corrupt/incompetent/dangerous, and they wanted a return to presidential and social norms. Even if Trump weren’t so far outside the norm and so polarizing, the Democratic presidential nominee has won the popular vote in 7 out of the last 8 elections, including both times Trump ran. It really isn’t a mystery why Biden won.[/quote]
