Trump has been deep in this since the late 70s. It's very plausible Robert Maxwell and Mossad set Trump up with his first wife, whose family had on-record links to intelligence circles. Isn't it also a documented fact Epstein and that same "fashion" orbit in Europe set him up with Melania? Don't forget Trump's mentor Roy Cohn.

I’m new to this story and got a little obsessed over the weekend, reading old threads and many linked articles. According to the old threads, there’s a narrative that Jeffrey Epstein introduced Trump to Melania, but that may or may not be true. Some news article(s) say that D and M met at a fashion party thrown by some Italian designer I’ve never heard of, and the news site reached out to the designer and he said there’s no way he would have invited Epstein to a party. (I don’t remember the year the article was written, but the vibe I got was less judgment against Epstein for being a creep and much more “designer scoffing at the idea of such an unfashionable nerd at his party.”) So who knows?

For what it’s worth, I found this 2020 Guardian article on John Casablanca’s “Look of the Year” competition in the 90s to be really interesting and evocative of a whole circle of model-adjacent creepy old guys during the early 90s. The article mentions that Melania was the runner-up in the Look of the Year competition in her country in that period. So it’s entirely possible they crossed paths through the creeping-on-young-models community and not directly through Epstein. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if  those two circles overlapped often.
