I've said it many times before, but the US should just go make nice with Iran.  The Iranian regime is absolutely horrible, but they are no worse than the Saudis.  There is no reason to continue to shun Iran from the world oil markets and allow Saudi to dictate.  [/quote]

They took the off-ramp that was offered, and then Trump blew it up because the Saudis wanted him to.  Saudi and Iran are regional rivals.  We have taken the Saudi side of that for 40 plus years on the basis that Saudi would pump oil when needed.  Saudi has proven they are not good allies, so no reason to keep taking their side.[/quote]
