I'm desperately trying to see how people are assuming multiple death bed scenes. Randall's hair seems consistent to me between the kitchen and door scenes. The doorknob seems consistent. Mayyyybe the walls are questionable but that's an easy continuity error depending on the set. And when he asked "where is..." and the answer is "already in there"...remember that this scene is from when we didn't even know Rebecca was in the room, so they were holding back on even the fact that Nicky was there. I'm all for a conspiracy theory but no matter how many times I watch it I can't see it another way.
+1 for me. I see young Randall in a hospital room saying hi to Mom, and old Randall in the cabin(? - I'm assuming it is) saying hi to his dying Mom.
Same!
Two flash forwards Flash forward 1: season 3 ep18 I see Randall with a lot of gray hair when he greets Toby and in the kitchen, get up and head to the bedroom. I then see a flashback with young Randall in the hospital. Back at the cabin, when he tells Rebecca he’s there I see no gray hair. https://youtu.be/mXu_Py6gydc Flash forward 2: season 4 ep18 Kevin walks in, Randall, no gray hair and Rebecca in the background. https://youtu.be/Xs-NYjpjM7E
If the writers were reading this they'd be rolling their eyes so hard at this, and the fact that the gray hair was picked up slightly more in some shots than others because of the lighting.
I don’t think it’s the lighting or an accident.
So you're saying that Randall just so happens to be wearing the exact same outfit in two different scenes that happen several years apart? Come on.
And you’re saying his hair goes black to gray to black all in the same day.
His hair is not that different. Any difference you are seeing is easily explained by different lighting and possibly a simple continuity error. Those scenes were undoubtedly shot on different days, and the hair might have ended up a bit more gray one day than another. I'm sure if you look close enough their wrinkles don't match exactly either. It's really not that deep.
+1 The people overanalyzing this sequence are undoubtedly the same people who agonized for weeks over the slightest inconsistencies in earlier seasons - ages, geographical locations and distances, current events, dates, etc. They are truly exhausting.
You’re need to control this thread is what is exhausting. Lighten up!
