Let me first state that I know several families and players at several of the area private schools. My son plays on a club lacrosse team that happens to have kids at several of the schools which are talked about a fair amount on this thread . To state one school aggressively recruits more so than another schools is not entirely accurate. I too heard a player from the Heights and STA happened to transfer into Landon this summer - both talented lacrosse players. Two years ago, two kids from Landon happened to transfer into Gonzaga - both talented lacrosse players. A year ago, in the middle of the year a kid from Landon transfers into Bullis - another lacrosse player. This past summer, a goalie from a NOVA public school, transfers into Bullis. This past January, a MOCO public player committed to Maryland, transfers into Bullis as a mid year transfer. This past summer, Georgetown Prep, brings in a touted lacrosse goalie from Atlanta. Two years a ago, a player from Connecticut. I could probably site even more examples but you get my point. All of the traditional strong lacrosse programs in the area, have been recruiting for years.
This is all correct except the kid who transferred from Landon to Bullis was not a midyear transfer. He transferred in the summer after school was completed, not during the middle of the year.
